This is my take on branding for an Italian Restaurant. I wanted my brand to evoke authentic Italian culture while avoiding the cliches of most restaurants; see Olive Garden, any pizza place, etc. In order to make my brand stand out in a crowded market, I chose to focus on surrealism in Italian culture. I drew inspiration from filmmaker Federico Fellini and painter Giorgio De Chirico to create a brand experience that was indulgent, passionate, and unique. Branding included logo design, menu design, business cards and stationary, product design and signage.
